A simple method to prepare cottage cheese at home . Once you tried this home made version I can bet you are never gonna buy it from store.So let’s start the recipe .yum
1 liter full cream milk
2 teaspoon non fruit vinegar
Boil milk in a vessel .
Add 2 teaspoon of vinegar and stir it continuously . Boil it for 5-7 minutes more till all water separates from milk. It looks like scrambled cheese in water.
Sieve it in a big strainer and wash under running water.
Squeeze all excess milky water and wrap it in a clean and wet kitchen towel.
Put a heavy weight on it for 1/2 an hour . Set it in refrigerator.
Take out from freeze and cut in desired shape. Use as required.
Serve-200 gm of Cottage cheese Prep time -1 hour
Note: Wash it thoroughly under running water to remove smell of vinegar.
